Police intimidation?

What really happens when the police stops a woman and the woman whips out a camera to film them?

Can the police take your I.C. and not give it back? Were they threatening and intimidating me?

  1. gosh I just read the other bit….and now I think.. it was just two highly irritated parties.PLus them wanting extra pocket money ?? wow.. still there huh… Thought that bribery was on the way out !!!

  2. Who ever you are, first I think you should have asked permission for the video to be recorded. And is it in the Malaysian Constituition ? In the States , video recording without the other party permission is illegal unless court oredered so . And why are you provoking them , if you were nice and polite. I think they would have been nicer too . I have dealt with cops in Malaysia and they have always been courteous. If you deserved a summons , take it nicely and get on with life. This is a ruse to create a sensation with no meat in it…. They were not intimidating you, the were highly irritated with you and your lack of respect for the law. Thank You

  3. This post reminds me of some classic expressions – it takes 2 hands to clap or it takes 2 to tango or there's always 2 sides to a coin!

  4. She is bitch. If she does not agree with the accusation of using hand phone while driving, just go to court. Why need to intimidating the poor policemen? Then she pretended she was the victim of intimidation by the policemen. Common, if everyone behaving like this, what will happen to the country. Frankly, she is too much.

  5. I am completely dont agree with the way this lady behaving of challenging the authority in wrong way. I am not a fan of Malaysian police but in this case, she is obviously has a bad motive to record and challenge the authority. I would support her if the police is rude or demanding for under table money. The way she talk, I am sorry to say she is kind of fucked up person.

  6. As a Malaysian working in the US, I think she is the provoking party. In the states, you can get arrested for pulling a stunt like that.

I hate to say this, but she is posting this to make it into a racial thing.

  7. I wonder what is her objectives and motive of filming the police personel, I am not a fan of the Malaysian police but the actions of this women is surely not warranted.

If she commits an offence just accept the ticket and move onn, why the fuss?Does she wish to further fuel anger and hatred among the races. She claims of being intimidated but the way I see it she the one intimidating the officers.

Humilating the officers by asking them as to whether the understand the meaning of certain word, she should be ashamed of her self. The poor officers is the result of the system, if she serious for change than its the system that we must change and behaviours like hers is not going to unite us to bring changes.

  8. This is probably the one of the many instances whereby malaysia enforcers had acted unprofessionally. Personally, i had also been extorted money at the custom and mind you, its during hari raya for merely crossing the center road divider in a queue.

The 4 custom officers (I hope they are real) refused to give me the summon and says that the summon is negotiable. With that statement, i immediately knew what they want. My whole family was in the car with my kids and all, all of them frightened. I decided to pay them RM 50 and move on. They demanded more and i said its either RM50 or the summon.

If the country were to make progress, corruption must be eradicated. The pro-malay elitism must stopped and human rights must be respected. Its a long journey for them i guess.

  9. We need more professionals in Malaysia… i wouldn’t blame the race, but just the uneducated people.. there are many good Malays, Indian and Chinese… But for those who are on the police side in this video, very sad to hear that you don’t understand the 1 Malaysia Concept.. in order to start that.. we must first admit what’s wrong.. i must say that i have a bunch of Malay & Indian friends that i love and they are awesome..

Malaysia still BOLEH.. maybe in another 10 years…

  10. Rambo, you sound and write like a Policeman’s off spring, calling the Lady in the video a B**ch is very ill-mannered. The Jackass here is actually you Rambo. The two Policemen were not courteous and polite in carrying out their duty, they have demonstrated their ulterior motives i.e. they are actually intimidating the lady driver into submission so as to demand money from her for her alleged traffic offence. Realising they have stopped a no nonsence lady driver, tried as best as they could yet they could not frighten the driver but instead they realised they have been counter challenged by the driver. They soon came to their senses that if they prolong the confrontation they will end up being the losers, thats after the lady driver said she woul lodge a Police Report against them for intimidations. They had to save face and cut losses by politely giving the summon and returning the driver’s IC and Driver’s licence take off as fast as they could and pray that the Lady driver’s threat of lodging a Police report against them would not happen. Well, good on her, bravo !!
For all those above commentators, come visit New Zealand, see for yourself, how and what a Police Officer is expected to carry out their duties. A word of caution, DON’T even think of bribing them or you will get another summon for attempting to Bribe. In New Zealand, even the Prime Minister will be stopped and summon issued if a Traffic Offence is committed. The Police Officers here are Firm but Polite and Courteous.

  11. These policemen are already off duty I assume. You must have obstructed the law so you're being stopped. 1 more thing, kudos to you filming them so openly. By the way, talking about rights, you don't have right to write on the summon book, they can countersue yo

  12. HaHa.. Is tis lady for real?! De cops were bad but she is de bitch here! get a life jackass.. who r u to write on de book?! u shud just sign n take ur summon! den if de cops still intimidate u, u have a point.. Dont always blame de cops! they have to be strict! they cant be soft cuz they r police idiots.. u want them to treat offenders sweetly?! Amirul got shot n malaysians make a big fuss.. he was running from them! shud the police stop him n check his age on his mykad n den shoot?! R u ppl Crazy?! den why do they have guns? they have de ryt to shoot anyone who run from roadblock! the real criminal is de boy n his parents.. they shud educate him n hide de car keys! wats a 14 year old doin at 2/3 am wit a car n runnin roadblocks?! Nonsense..

  13. When i was in Singapore for a holiday with group of friends hanging out at night, we are approach by 2 policeman(malay), i was so impressed with their manners. Before they say anything, they apologize for interrupting, and politely ask for our passport and explaining why they are comeing to us(apparently some complain by neighbour for earlier drunk individuals we seen). After checking our passport, they ended the conversation again apologizing and wish a good night, please continue our activities. Whats more, they even spole in Bahasa when noticing a number of us is Malay. Malaysian police definitely have long way to go in terms of manners.

To the controversial lady here. You only make thing worse. When 2 individuals have equally bad manners. Things definitely get worse.(for me, both are intimidating each other because "you are pissed off with each other")

  14. good on you girl. I experienced a similar episode – I was threatened with a summons which I felt was not justifyable. I asked them for the summons which they deliberated then let me go with a warning. Other friends and family would have paid them off and I refused to perpetuate the corruption. More Malaysians shoudl stand up to their rights and not allow police intimidation.

  15. @Esther

This is so simple. You get summon. On that summon supposedly have that police number.

go to police station and log a report. Bribe report.

After that send a letter to IGP. Finish.

  16. I had an experience which the police asked for 'duit kopi', but I said I just want a summon. He didn't immediately give me the summon but tried to persuade my bf (sat on passenger seat) to give him the money. Both of us insist to just get a summon. After he failed to persuade, he just wrote the summon with 'tak shyok' mood..and he dropped my I/C on the road without realization (or purposely? I dont know). When he passed me the summon & my driving license, I kept asking him for my I/C, but he replied me by very rude tune, said,"Aku sudah bagi kau balik tadi!" I showed him my wallet, there was no I/C inside, and both my bf & I remember very well he did not give me back my I/C! The police just asked me to go after received my summon! WHAT? I haven't get back my I/C, how can I go just like that? After 5 minutes of argument with him, then only he went to find my I/C, and it was found on the road! He didn't even apologize to me when he passed me my I/C. This is Malaysia's police!

  17. CONGRATULATIONS to Pam Lim for her courage and boldness to stand up for justice and fair play in our society. The thinking of many in this country have warped. There should be a serious effort to educate all people, including the polis to be POLITE and COURTEOUS.

  18. @Ian

Yeah SG's is so FINE a country that even LKY's own grandson couldn't stand it there and eventually applied a US citizenship. Sure, its a FINE country.

One more thing, SG has short roads :( So a lot of you come over here and treat our highways like it's the Autobahn. On top of that, you guys still fill your tanks with our subsidized fuel knowing well it's against the law. Well then, sure you guys are a fine lot there Ian, definitely FINE.

And by the way, the FINE part I mentioned is so pun intended la ok. Because it's the ONLY way that the good old LKY can ever control you guys in that little hole down there. FINE the bunch of yous :P

  19. Thank God I am not Malaysian.

Thank you, Tun Adbul Razak, for kicking us out of the Federation in 1965.

Look at you now, a bunch of overweight corrupts.

Look at us Singaporeans, a first world country where everything runs smoothly. At least our fighter jet engines don't end up in Argentina.

Bottom line is, MALAYSIA TAK BOLEH!

    Love,

    A Singaporean.

  20. @Jack Ang

Please read all "Police Intimidation Caught on Video" loyar burokers postings. there are three of them. Please read before land any comments. Nor we care any of BN/PAS/DAP/PKR whatever, but please do any search first.

  21. It is about a citizen and the police and why all the responses about race here? Just because the police is a malay and the woman is a chinese, we have to spew racial profanity?

When will we ever grow up? Don't we all know that the country is going to the dogs?

We can continue to quarel while the BN crooks plunder the country. The malays are happy seeing Ling Liong Sik in court for the PKFZ case and the chinese are still waiting for the UMNO crooks to be charged with corruption. Is that how it is supposed to be while our common billions are lost through political pilferage?

That is how stupid Malaysians are, not knowing our common enemy. Let me tell you, our common enemies are the crooks, most of them in UMNO/MCA/MIC and other BN parties. Nor forgeting the many civils servants, the police included.

  22. Very boring. Boring comments at all.

"I just wonder what you wrote on the summon that made them really crazy."

    Promotes summon scribbling.

"Again I can see posting this video creates lots of controversies. I actually found this video by viral emails sent from one of my bosses. I am a bit sadden by some of the remarks or comments posted by some as it seems to turn out into some racial remarks rather than to the fact of the matter."

    "…promotes satu malaysia…."

sadden by what? racial thingy? Please see why bad comments more that good comments. Hope read a lot before putting something.

satu malaysia? i am laughing on this because malaysia is better without this slogan. it should be "Malaysian" without promotion.

"The police have no right to request you to follow them to the police station. They must give a reason, your is just a traffic offence, just accept the summon and ask them to fly kite."

Maybe when police put gun on your head, would you hearing flying heads? Police is human, if you request him to fly kite, did he happy? Please check law again, police may give ANY reason to keep you following them, but ONLY to police station.

"The attitude of the policemen is the most important. I would say sunglasses and chewing gum are not appropriate when they are talking to someone.

And, the policemen always catch the “wrong” person."

So, police had the "wrong" person. Higher than police, oh very cocky. What are we? Police never care who are you. And we also must think, we are not a police to teach police works. You may say something to object, but in the court. CHALLENGE THEM!

Its like, if we are driving a Kancil, dont drive like BMW. Because we, as a small kancil is easily boomed.

  23. Drivers with such bad experience will agree with Pam, including myself.

The attitude of the policemen is the most important. I would say sunglasses and chewing gum are not appropriate when they are talking to someone.

And, the policemen always catch the "wrong" person.

  24. The police have no right to request you to follow them to the police station. They must give a reason, your is just a traffic offence, just accept the summon and ask them to fly kite.

  25. Babe,

I really admire your courage & I am proud that you are standing up and firm knowing that you can't be easily bullied. Be it by a male or by numbers or by race.

Again I can see posting this video creates lots of controversies. I actually found this video by viral emails sent from one of my bosses. I am a bit sadden by some of the remarks or comments posted by some as it seems to turn out into some racial remarks rather than to the fact of the matter.

Our country always promote Satu Malaysia, but are we really bersatu-berpadu? When I look as my friends from Australia, they do not categorize themselves as Australian Indian, Australian Italian, Australian Dutch…or anything as such. They just call themselves Australian!

Clearly our upbringing, school system & societal influences plays a huge role. Try not to waste your time and effort replying people who just don't get it. Seriously!

In any society, there's the bad eggs and the good eggs.

Being a proud Malaysian, I have plenty of cool Malay friends & cool indian friends, whom taught me so much about their ancestral culture, language, accent, slang, food, humor (Malays are funny, Indians are good with communication skills)..

A note to all Malaysians or just about any human from any country any religion…Do learn to see the good side of one another, neglecting it only close your doors to learn more and see things from a different perspective.

Kawan2 ku yg tersayang, jgnlah marah2 nanti kang cepat tua. Kite semua dr pelbagai kaum mengambil tanggungjwb yg amat penting utk membina Satu Malaysia yg kukuh & ke era Wawasan 2020.

As our country is developing, so should our mindset be.

    Gracias!! Ciao!

  26. Salute to you Ms. Pamela, you have been a great and brave lady dealing with these two scum bags. You really exercise your right and slap them hard right on their face. This really an encouragement and a idol of all other citizens out there.

I just wonder what you wrote on the summon that made them really crazy.

One more thing, next time, you please make sure your own safety like find a busy crowded place or bright spot and DO NOT wind down your windows all the way, small enough to get thing thru but not their arm.

    Bravo !!! Respect you.

  27. Its a question of trust and mutual respect. Even-though it is within Pamela's right to put this on camera, she could have done this discreetly so as not to humiliate these guys.

The police on the other hand reacted defensively perhaps because of their inexperience..they look young to me.

Situation today is already highly volatile. Act sensibly and don't go around looking for a fight. These chaps are after-all also victims of the system today in this country. One cannot change others by putting them down.

  28. The police has no manners – right. But what I feel here is Pam is worst than the police.

RESPECT OTHERS BEFORE EXPECTING OTHERS TO RESPECT YOU!!!

She herself is being rude in the first place. I agree with agreetodisagree.. she can just take the summons and go instead of being RUDE and a BITCH! If anything hppens to her, it is her own doing. Luckily they are police not road bullies.

  29. Looks like another example police intimidation. I don't get why the policemen couldn't be polite. Not only were they ridiculing her they were trying to bully her into submitting to them.

Do they have any sort of evidence that Pamela Lim was using her cellphone instead of her handsfree unit? No.

I also found the question 'citizen of which country?' rather offensive in the context.

As for the comments here about the "other" races having come from China, India, Timbuktu and so forth, history will show that everyone's ancestor came from somewhere else. The question isn't who came from where and when, it is how do we get along NOW?

Nobody likes being the least favoured. No one likes being passed over.

As long as there are special privileges based on race, gender or religion there will always be resentment among the disenfranchised.

Ms Lim, you were smart and brave to catch the policemen on video. They should never be allowed to deal with the public until they learn some social graces and perhaps some English. What a Public Relations nightmare for the Police Department.

  30. Comments are very entertaining. Lookint at it, I find that most of it are immature with their comments. Look at the bigger picture and on the positive side. If comments are base on racial ground, Malaysia will take maybe another century to achieve the 1Malaysia concept. Or maybe not. Please grow up. Tq.

  31. This is f*ing hilarious.

Woman, you are the sh*t and you're awesome.

Look at rachmat!! fat-ass cop, how is he physically fit? chewing his gum like a cow hahaha. blah blah blah, shut the f*k up you f*ing piggish cow. go get yourself a halal certificate!

I'm extremely glad that i do not live in malaysia anymore.

ps. how can a trashy village bike pursue in any car chases? hahaha

  32. "Kesalahan menggunakan telefon bimbit semasa memandu"

Apa apa pun Pamela dah jelaskan saman tu jadi tak dapat lah nak dengar cerita lanjut.. ingatkan Pamela gi Mahkamah untuk tidak mengaku kesalahan nya.

Polis pegang lesen dan K/Pengenalan ajak pergi balai supaya dapat jelaskan pihak atasan bahawa Pamela coteng kat Pol.257 tu ayat " I do not accept as i had handsfree ".

Memang betul lah Polis tu tak sesuai guna Helmet warna lain. Masa saya dulu mmg di nasihatkan guna Helmet warna putih semasa menjalankan tugas gunakan motorsikal sendiri atau motorsikal kerajaan.

Saya tak nafikan Polis tu tinggikan suara memang kena banyak sabar dalam Polis ni.. Saya pun pernah tinggikan suara semasa procces nak tulis saman sebab pemandu cakap lebih dari Lawyer. Selepas itu saya menyesal dan cuba sabar. Bertahun lepas itu saya tahan kereta lampu brek tidak menyala masa process saman bagitahu kesalahan dan diam terus menulis.. pemandu tu bebel cakap macam macam nada keras sampai lah akhirnya dia kat Woiii Lu Polis Bisu ka? hahaha takpe lah saya sabar serah saman suruh tanda tangan bgtahu tarikh bicara. Berlalu terus.

JOm jalan jalan cari rakam rakam awekzz

  33. " It is now only our hope that the senior officer who has the opportunity to witness this video incident to take note and act in a positive manner "

They have responded and LoyarBurok had also reprinted it in the next post. But here it is in case anyone missed it …

  34. It is very obvious that the police had acted very unprofessionally. The are suppose to keep the peace and up keep the law. Should the police believe that a rule has been violated, all they need to do is to explain it to the so call offender so that they understand and not do it again. They will have two choices. After they have explained the purported violation, they can 1, allow the so call violator a chance to show cause. Then exercise their good judgement to let the incident rest with a sturn warning; or 2, issue a citation and let the system takes it's cause. It is only as simple as that. Race, apartheid, etc are all irrelevent as the so call violator can also be a tourist. This behavior does not make one proud of the police force and for our country they represent. Had they behaved and acted professionally, the video incident would not have occurred. Pam was only using technology in her non-violence approach she knows best to safe guard her position. Not many people in that situation, will have the presence of mind to do so in self preservation. It is now only our hope that the senior office who has the opportunity to wittness this video incident to take note and act in a positive manner to have his staff to be better trained, so they may carry out their duty and act in the most professional manner and be in a better position to protect and up keep the good office of the Department and the Country they stand for, so they may stand up proud and hold their head up high. We will all be proud of them too.

  35. hi @apalah :

Any race also want power. If other got one, other also want to brag.

    (1) That is only the chauvinists and unreasonable ambitious. To uphold personal standards we need not worry about them as the logic of what is presented in the arguement cannot be challenged by mere ambition or braggery alone.

Thats why, theory is always theory. I wish a theory would convert into law, but you know, ehem, we only one among millions. In the middle of millions that dont think like we think right now.

    (2) Every journey begins with a single step. Lead by example.

Who will control it. Could we comfirm that there are no abuse, as you know law could be changed anytime?

    (3) Anything unfair, as elucidated in the Human Rights Charter, or against common sense like plutocrats sequestering all the waelth and lands of the world can be displaced via revolution or voting as well as education towards fair mindedness. We can work together on this. If you want to set up a political party based on these discussions, on this spirit of open discussion we have at least embraced here, by all means state your intent for I am interested. (Barring if you're someone from existing political parties or those with wrong mindsets of course.) Can we think as if we were the only people left in this world and expand forward from there? If you can, then I'd like to meet you to discuss this.

Like Singapore there. When their power risen, there is no chances for malays. Even Kampung Gelam, the last big piece malay land also abused. It was applied. PRACTICALLY.

    (4) I would never touch Kampong Glam. I am wholly with the Kampong Baru remaining a Malays only district. However I'd also like to ask that new areas be opened up as I suggest on my facebook group to cater to all future citizens.

But, for a time there, there is nationalist, want to create COMMUNISTS idealogy. We call that Parti Komunis Malaya (PKM). At first, they helps, but after that, they rebels and kills Malays. A lot of them. Many of my relatives died, killed by communists. How we could revenge them. Could they rest in peace?

    (5) Majority of Chinese are not communist. Even the descendents of Communists may not be Communists. The Chinese in China even though calling themselves Communist are more Socialist-Capitalist than anything else. Chin Peng cannot be forgiven for his actions when he was young. But has he changed? Is he even Communist or the same person he was during those days now? He is an old man only. And as his memory and faculties fade, those who live with what he was in the past are doing so at their own loss. It is what we are now and what we intend to others that matter, not what we were. I do consider that it was the British and some Freemason/Zionist/NWO secret societies that put Chin Peng (then an impressionable and ambitious young man), that organized the chaos to effect their 1WorldGovernment to control everyone. Even Mahathir and Lee Kuan Yew may have been in cahoots with Chin Peng and his NWO masters the true hands behind the May 13 riots. What do you think? It is the fools who will act against the spirit of good will whatever the historical basis or current trends. Will we act to ensure freedom of man, goodwill or be taken in by centuries old secret societies which have also plotted to bring down Islam and other world religions, carved Greater India into Pakistan/Bangladesh/India 3 seperate countries? Could we pardon Chin Peng? It varies from individual to individual, but if pardoning him somehow WEAKENS the Colonial and Neo-Colonial or Fifth Columnist elements in Malaysia, we must certainly do it. THINK DEEPER.

Malay want a school that could teach all kinds of people inside it.Other race oppose. Why, want to preserve identity.Thats why we have a lot of school in malaysia. Tamil school, Chinese school, Malay school.Could you agree that put all in one school is OK. We are OK but others say NOT.So, no equality. No any equality, starts from school.

    (6) Don't worry about that. The education issue is a barometer and reflects on what the status of things are. Let it be so a real barometer exists. When APARTHEID ends, and only 1 class of citizenship exists, it will not matter, and even the concept of state and nation may not even last long enough to see us in our graves. Don't micromanage. We are all stuck on this and need to look at root causes rather than the symptoms of trends. This has been recognized in Human Rights Charter Article 26(c). There is a reason why that article was formulated on the back of 2 world wars. These are personal choices that will not effect TRUE EQUALITY which is a desire for free will and respect for fellow man or as of now fellow citizens.

I hope it turns to be simpler, but, when chinese monopoly us, and ask us to be quiet and make make it sounded like “human rights”, we are terified. We dont use handphone to call muslims to pray. It was practiced for thousand years, since ancient times. Its like, telling you (please dont be angry) dont use hell money as that paper pollutes lands, dont use that setanggi for your ancestors. Would you tolerate that? I think you will not. Same as us.

    (7) There is no monopoly. Go to China and start buying land and developing it to prove this point. The world is same for all humans. Can't force anything at this level. There are laws protecting everyone and we too must apply and strengthen awareness. No spekaers existed about 1 or 2 thousand years ago, and God did not demand of the Prophet that loud speakers were to be used for Azan. If the prophet knew there were non-Muslim communities around that were bothered by overly loud prayers, I am sure he would not mind asking that non-technological methods of voice based prayer be used instead. It is eminently arguable that technology was evil in itself and is causing strife in non-Muslims against Muslims because it is undeniable that loudspeaker systems with prayers not of their own faith do disturb non-Muslims, but VOICE-ONLY prayers have an entirely different quality. This cannot be taboo because there were no loudspeakers in the Prophets time and everyone used voice. As for the hell paper issue, there must be proper place for it too and preferably awy from Muslims or other not inclined. Perhaps a reserved radius so the smell of burning will not reach? Same with the speaker volume. Based on this consideration and request, if loudspeakers were no longer used on regular and morning or evening prayers, non-Muslim communities would feel less pressurized by rather invasive prayers they do not want to hear and thus feel happier among Muslims wouldn't you say?

When they win, they insults malays as they are talking rude on malays.

    (8) No decent person should insult anyone over politics. It is however known that ambition and greed cause this. There is no proper example for the people to follow yet and many politicians are self serving. As mentioned there are some facts we need to keep in mind all the time, if we do it is not impossible and given that Malaysia only represents less than 1% of the world's landmass, it would be best that Malays set the humanist stance so that furture developpment and sharing of Malays worldwide will not meet barriers. This is not to belittle the power of any persons but having lived under APARTHEID and authoritarianism for so long, I find that the political party paradigm as well as anything incompatible with humanist thought (which Islam has much of barring the worst of Hudud punishments) must be done away with. The future of all must not lie in the hands of a handful of politicians and do not mistake racism or apartheid or insults as representative of an entire race. We are all, MUST be all individuals for the world to progress.

Pam gets summon. Agree and go. Dont agree, go to court. She doesnt need to talk much. Talk, talk talk and say bye, bye.

    (9) The officers could have ignored her and just left the summons. They chose to engage her in a nonsensical conversation and had an unprofessional attitude. They probably knew they were not using proper SOP and Pam picked up on that subconsciously. Then there is APARTHEID against minorities which made he feel aggrieved and use this as an opportunity to communicate this. They way she did it was wropng, but the onus is upon the government and the uniformed personnel to ensure and assure, which was not done.

Police also do the work. If that Pam say like that, give a warning. If not obey give a TASER. Do according to Law. . . . Is this kind of chinese, we want to give them chances?

    (10) Tasering is against he spirit of the law, EVEN if the word of the law allows it – which means the person who wrote in the law allowing tasering is not a good person at all. It is morally wrong to taser anyone for arguing anything. At most take down their number and see them in court. Sue them. To do according to a Law that is WRONG, is WRONG. This is spirit of the law versus word of the law. You and all conscietious citizens with conscience MUST make the distinction and apply this to you fellow human being , even if they are not of your race or faith. A cosmopolitan and morally aware stance if you will. Don't brute force law on citizens, which is the trademark of a personal nature tainted by 'evil'. If you can let her off, do it! Don't say 'cos it's law' I will taser her or propagate the same! Thats the difference between Good and Evil. Hurting people is worse than letting them off. Losing abit of face as opposed to tasering someone again determines your demonic or angelic nature. Think and if you can let it go, let it go! It's not about enforcing artificial man made law but application of KINDNESS. Adaab, and nominally the spirit of Muhibbah, EVEN to non-Muslims which shows the exceptional from mediocre application of Hadiths wherever possible.

For bumiputra case, chinese people is dominant in world of selling or buying. Richest people is chinese. Rich chinese always support other chinese. Rarely chinese support malays. even there is people that need to learn mandarin before work with chinese. Why, a requirement, they say. Why don't tolerate with us?

    (1) That trade and merchant thing is a falsehood in UNIVERSAL laws. There is no place for that in the afterlife. It is not about race or racism, though living under APARTHEID law fosters that which you describe. Those making you learn any language can be boycotted. Simple as that. But remember there is private sector and publci sector. Private sector can run the business anyway they want, or even demand language. You cannot resent or expect private companies to act like a neutral government (which Malaysia under BN was not because of 2 citizenship Bumi-nonBumi policy). If they don't tolerate you then blame the PARATHEID system that makes them retaliate. But when APARTHEID policy ends, you will find that it will be THEIR FAULT instead. Right now it is the government throwing the first punch. So the private sector is protesting by behaving like this. Don't give them reason to by allowing APARTHEID.

People may behave badly buit we must be better than them. Take it that Allah tests us. Are we going to fail by responding with evil or teach our attackers good by reacting with kindness that will shame them? The onus is upon the host race and the one always wrong will be Goliath, never David. So if Malays are not treated equally in India or China, fully expect me to advocate that they be treated equally as well, because it Existential Angst and Fear are Human Conditions that affect everyone and I considering myself better than everyone else would not want to fuel that hated by not gibving way where I can, in the loudaspeaker vs. voice example for instance (it is not taboo to use voice prayer and make everyone so much happier), or ending APARTHEID for equality or taking down Pam's registration for a later court case than tasering her. We want to be right not wrong and must weigh the possibilities and flexibilities before condemning any party. Is there not enough space and leeway for all to express themselves so long as we try to find it?

Try this link and see some ideas on how an extremely diverse society can exist and that even Hudud can exists beside Haram non-Muslims and even LGBT and others. It's everone's world, try to share it wheever possible. There is space for sure. So tell me if the ways suggested in the site will intrude on you unreasonably?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, because these conversations show a true desire for communication between diverse ethnicities and faiths despite differences, and an attempt encompass the fullest diversity of mankind's expression.

  36. Wow, you are one woman I wouldn't want to mess around with! What were you booked for in the first place and why did you start video taping these 2 goons?

  37. My brother was parked outside the SS15 Subang Jaya RHB Bank waiting for his wife to drop a cheque when Subang Jaya police took his IC & license & asked him to follow … said he was blocking the traffic and had to move…. led him to the empty land behind SJMC & there grabbed his new handphone and said, "Bagi lah, I lepas you..". My poor brother is not well informed like Pamela & was so frightened that he almost cry… After much hassle they asked for RM200… of course he paid.. he's young, doesn't know the Law & very frightened…(the phone cost almost a thousand $$$)and his wife still at the bank…

  38. this is all stupidity. This woman is stopped by the police, must be for a reason. Then she provokes the police and video the incident. The policemen are malay and this woman is chinese. Watching the video, the woman was obviously bitchy. The policemen even if they are of ANY other race would be annoyed. This woman is not bold, she is actually the the abusive one. She was harrasing the police. Now she claim she is being harrased by the police who happen to be malay. Becos of this stupid people like this woman ther will always be quarrels and fights not necessarily between chinese and malays in Malaysia but anywhere in the world. Lets remind ourself,in any human race there are good and bad guys. And also before you condemn the other person, look at yourself first. Dont be like this woman who claims that the police was abusive but actually she was the evil one.

  39. You did well. These idiots are just after your money and should you have followed them, you could end up raped somewhere. Yeah you did well !!

  40. @AgreeToDisagree.

"That is true but we are not the ones applying APARTHEID this day.Though to apply against outsiders is no less unethical when viewed from a humanist lens."

I really hope to hear that for future, but for now, one race couldnt even like to agree with others race. We know, we dont want to apply APARTHEID. But you can see for time being. Any race also want power. If other got one, other also want to brag.

Thats why, theory is always theory. I wish a theory would convert into law, but you know, ehem, we only one among millions. In the middle of millions that dont think like we think right now. In the middle of people that love wars and powers.

Who will control it. Could we comfirm that there are no abuse, as you know law could be changed anytime? Like Singapore there. When their power risen, there is no chances for malays. Even Kampung Gelam, the last big piece malay land also abused. It was applied. PRACTICALLY.

"Most of the people living here in Malaysia were not from Malaysia."

Yup. Indeed. It is real. But, our ancenstors come and open the countries. Establish them. Make roads, live happily. Create politic connections. For hundreds of years. Quote it as oldcomers.

And then, come newcomers. Before this, they are in smaller group. Then, the group become bigger, they grows. No problem, and they come to "cari makan". We happily live among them, and help each other.

    ——————————————

We talk, helping each other for a long time.

Supporters, Chinese. Chinese Communists threaten Chinese to supply Communists.

Tunku give them chances, but they dont want to cooperate. War again with them until Chin Peng run to Thailand.

As an example. If that Chin Peng comes back to Malaysia, could we pardon him? After all he wrongdoings from the past, could we pardon him and think it as no problem?

    ——————————————

We love to cooperate, but when other race oppose what we want to do, and still want to preserve their idealogy, then how?

Ok think it PRACTICALLY. SIMULATE it in your mind.

Malay want a school that could teach all kinds of people inside it.

Other race oppose. Why, want to preserve identity.

Thats why we have a lot of school in malaysia. Tamil school, Chinese school, Malay school.

Could you agree that put all in one school is OK. We are OK but others say NOT.

So, no equality. No any equality, starts from school.

From darjah Satu, there is no equality. I know that, because i am a malay that starts my education inside a chinese school. But i still respects chinese school policy, and hoping this idea of teachings could be implemented inside malay school. Melayu malas dan sombong. It was true. I get more works, different from malay school.

    ——————————————

"You cannot make exception for her, it is also outr of context. By principle of Jus Soli all citizens have already naturalized. Regular migration is a normal feature of the modern world. The second part is you not viewing things in a government’s perspective and wanting to insult migrants. One day when the humanist issue is clearer to you, you will feel very differently about what you say now."

I hope it turns to be simpler, but, when chinese monopoly us, and ask us to be quiet and make make it sounded like "human rights", we are terified.

You know, when it comes to malays people, religion is not for sympathy. It like, Could you throw only POP-POP to used on your religion? It sounds better. But, do you know people will listen when it comes to religion?

    No. No way, man.

Religion is religion. Thats why. Religion shapes us to become us right now. Exception only for non religious people. To your knowledge, we are practically AZAN for calling MUSLIMS to pray. 5 times a day (not optional. It is required). A call for praying. We dont use handphone to call muslims to pray. It was practiced for thousand years, since ancient times.

    How we could tolerate that?

Could we tell them to slow down, how muslims can hear? This is most taboo. TABOO for us. Not tolerated and we are willing to die for it.

Its like, telling you (please dont be angry) dont use hell money as that paper pollutes lands, dont use that setanggi for your ancestors. Would you tolerate that? I think you will not. Same as us.

    ——————————————

We hope no 13 may comes again where Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (Gerakan), Parti Tindakan Demokratik (DAP) and Parti Progresif Rakyat (PPP) win 25, and PAS wins 12. When they win, they insults malays as they are talking rude on malays.

History. But it could cycle. Back again to our square one.

We give chances. But what they treat us from the past? Give votes but get badmouthing.

    ——————————————-

Coherent. logical thinking. We are bounded to our religion. But you also said, "So this is what the Malaysian educational system or political party in charge has bred?"

We would agree if other race agree to a conlusion. If there is an answer. But can you get it? Miilions are not thinking wisely, but as you can see, back to main:

Pam gets summon. Agree and go. Dont agree, go to court.

She doesnt need to talk much. Talk, talk talk and say bye, bye.

Police also do the work. If that Pam say like that, give a warning.

If not obey give a TASER. Do according to Law.

Both parties could do good but,

see, Pam become angry. She put the video for people to watch.

    WORLDWIDE, see in youtube.

She could settled it in court or police departments but, why she

put it for TONTONAN UMUM. Popularise herself to be idol?

Critique police to show police wrongdoings? No ID? Or any?

Come on. When we angry, we put it for show. she could tolerate and

does as police wants. Talk POLITELY. But she dont tolerate. EGOIST.

Police also chewing gums. This is bad, when police work.

I sympathy with Pam at first.

But, When she draw that POL257, i could see she dont respect police anymore. Why? Because she knows RED BOOK? Aik. Only know a potion of laws doesnt make you know anything.

    we could create conlusion.

    Police not professional.

    Police Eating when working.

But Pam thinks that police is fake.

    But not fake.

    Draw on POL257.

And then say many unessesary words.

Yet we tell police unprofessional, but

Pam dont act to law. This is very bad on handling things.

Is this kind of chinese, we want to give them chances?

    ——————————————-

For bumiputra case, chinese people is dominant in world of selling or buying. Richest people is chinese. Rich chinese always support other chinese. That is good enough. When malay is not given chances, how many chinese will take. It become bigger. And then, no shop or anything for malay. Could you tolerate to us and give us help? Rarely chinese support malays. even there is people that need to learn mandarin before work with chinese. Why, a requirement, they say. Why dont tolerate with us?

  41. First portion was addressed to @apalah

    @dontoverreact

AgreeToDisagree, it is so easy for you to just write away but maybe you never been in the real world where you become their minority. if only you become a victim of their own racist character against yourself, then you finally will understand it….. RACISTS? When people defend their RACE it was RACISTS also.

I have in fact always faced persecution in so many forms that you would not believe it. Even from my own race lol and specifically along linguistic lines, then later others. If we ever meet we will discuss at length. Until then I will try to assuage your concerns by answering @apalah as above.

Stop going 'put em up' and try to think holistically in context of global citizenship. Otherwise don't bother discussing any further because you're simply not up to holding conversations without understanding the basic realities of the world today.

Nobody is going to oppress you so stop feeling aggrieved. On the other hand stop supporting APARTHEID policy as well because there will indeed be chauvinists that are calculating and who will collect on every offense with interest, or those sympathetic to your supposed 'Malay Dilemma' and reward every olive branch with a deserving return.

Human Rights Charter, globalism, humanism and the Hadiths of Islam. Fit these together into a coherent and sustainable paradigm (3 Items) or stop flailing around offending everyone with your partial understanding of these REALITIES.

  42. Again to Mr. AgreeToDisagree

“many citizens also races left the countries that were their homes and settled down elsewhere.”

    > So WHY CITIZEN LEFT the countries that were their home?

    > PLEASE give me an ANSWER? WHY?

    (1) If it is a denunciation of the deplorable conditions not necessarily of their own doing, I cannot argue with what you wish me to say. War and racism against their own. That is true but we are not the ones applying APARTHEID this day. Though to apply against outsiders is no less unethical when viewed from a humanist lens.

    And then you said:

“overly wealthy sequestering extreme quantities of land”

    > WHO actually own that land in first place? A lot of people for hundred of years but definitely, not Chinese.

    (2) Most of the people living here in Malaysia were not from Malaysia. Like I said, who actually owns anything on the Earth but in truth only a life and awareness alongside others?

As your sayings: “that Hang Li Po is actually political marriage as to partnership case that resulted in a Peranakan sub-culture being born as well.”

    >Hang Li Po is not a STATELESS person.

    >So peranakan. But what we talk RIGHT NOW is a CHINESE people, that come from china, talk, write like a chinese. They, indeed, before “MERDEKA” is STATELESS. Even china dont want them. They are thrown from their country ITSELF.

    (3) You cannot make exception for her, it is also outr of context. By principle of Jus Soli all citizens have already naturalized. Regular migration is a normal feature of the modern world. The second part is you not viewing things in a government's perspective and wanting to insult migrants. One day when the humanist issue is clearer to you, you will feel very differently about what you say now.

    You also said:

“In either case, as said before, any Malay can also buy land in any country or be given citizenship as well, and still are, so what is the issue here other than limited space which has not reached a saturation point as well?”

Thats is not a problem. Yes, any people can do that. BUT think again sir. What about that MALAY “occupied” that country and buy more as big as a country itself. You want to make other JEWS that take land from PALESTINE (a good example of occupation)?

    (4) You must understand the fact that populations can stabilize but are currently growing, don't get nervous that there will be no space and know that migration will occur if it is too crowded in Malaysia. India, China and Russia will be able to take in 100 generations more of Malays and long before that some One Child policy would be mooted by governments before overpopulation occurs. If you are concerned about whether Malays will be allowed to, then try to treat everyone who is here equally to have the right to demand the same in the future. The Jew example is out of context, though I am no fan of their actions and do not like Zionism or other forms of the same.

    And You said it again:

“Schools or culture and language are a non-issue, unless chauvinistic, you won’t find people being resentful of Malays naturalizing in India or China or anywhere else. ”

    >An definition of chauvinistic – “of or relating to persons convinced of the superiority of their own gender or kind, fanatically patriotic”.

    >WHO is wrong HERE.

    >Is malay people wrong for being “chauvinistic” in their own country?

    >Is German people wrong for being “chauvinistic” in their own German country?

    >Is American people wrong for being “chauvinistic” in their own United States country?

    >Is Japanese people wrong for being “chauvinistic” in their own Japan country?

    >And think again man. Is Chinese people wrong for being “chauvinistic” in others people country? It indeed WRONG man. WRONG.

    >You are talking about being APARTHEID in others people country. WHY? Why in the land of your own country you doesn’t talk like that, even the ancestors? Why dont fight back in your own country? WHY run to this country?

Why dont make your own country to become and HOLY land that you want to make? It is FAILED before? Why the ancestors don’t start to do your own country crusade fight?

    (5) It is my ancestors who migrated here for various reasons that you must pose these questions to. I personally would have stayed on to fight or die. But they did not and it was not my choice, so how could you question me? I don't know what they were thinking. From what I personally know, 3 generations back my ancestor was an estate owner that had his properties confiscated by Communists. So he migrated to Malaysia which had a Chinese community and no fixed laws on migration as most of the world had not considered those yet. With whatever money he had brought when he came here was circulated into and contributed to the Malaysian local economy in the course of settling down and consumer spending (much like My 2nd Home), others who were not so lucky would become coolies or estate workers who also contributed labour and taxes to the economy. Though without doubt, it would be convenient to learn Bahasa, and anyone in any country will certainly pick up the local language as well in due time, any so-called 'champions of language or race' need not bother themselves with micromanaging the hows and whys of this non-issue and just let things run their natural course. I will also concede that our bureaucrats, MPs and assemblymen and all other public sphere personel of minority races should take a formal course in Bahasa or be reasonably proficient in Bahasa as well or hire a translator at hand to make sure he/she can communicate. Private individuals and companies however are entirely hands off. We don't see ethnic Malay citizens in India or China being harangued about not knowing Hindi or Mandarin do we?

Now given I don't think our presence diminishes you somehow does it? Now I am here as yet another citizen in an increasingly globalised world. Being a citizen of the world as you are, being here or there, it does not make any difference to either of us. Those not plutocrats have to find their way through life, with or without Bahasa, though as mentioned it would be helpful to know Bahasa in Malaysia or Hindi and Mandarin in India or China, though llanguage cannot be forced upon anyone as well, the same way an Oath of Silence should be respected. I'd like to be treated as an equal citizen free from apartheid. It is more a right than an aspiration. If you were in India or China and were not treated equally, I'd speak up for you because I don't believe in chauvinism, though others might not.

Some minorities have been very rude or unpleasant or even inclined to retaliate, but don't end up lumping everyone together as the same. Or be goaded into being so communalistic that you end up viewing minorities from such a narrow view. Not everyone is the same. And while some minorities are arrogant to Malays, especially those that need things explained to them ad nauseum as I try now, others are not, and neither of the two should be subject to apartheid the same way any Malay should not be disenfranchised in India or China as well. There will always be chauvinists, but I am not one, maybe you could try not being one to those who are not too. Most working class citizens are the same whereever they are in the world. It's easy to make scapegoats of others, especially when they are different from ourselves. The minorities won't edge Malays out if apartheid ends. Malays conversely should not think in a zero sum manner so that they will have the right to migrate and demand equal treatment later. Learn to differentiate between chauvinists and being chauvinistic yourself. One thing evident about Malays is that they find it difficult to sepatare issues. But maybe those who do actually don't say very much because they are just to busy with their lives to have issues with others.

People accept you actually SUDAH BAGUS.

    (6) They really aren't because what I speak of isn't that difficult, just for you and other like you I'd think. But you might want to learn why they accept. There is nothing to accept or not accept. Read abit wider so you can piece these facts together instead of feeling competition for space. there REALLY is none, anyone can really migrate when we really need to OK?

    Your own sayings aaaa:

“It’s unreasonable to ask people, especially those who can’t afford to, to relocate based on this logic. Who will fund that? The colonial powers who brought them here to work in estates? The Japanese who caused them to run here during WW2? The early ones who were here at the welcome of the Sultans in the early 1500s or Malay Chieftains from earlier? It doesn’t work that way and it very childish to make an issue of.”

WHO did AGREE to come first?

    (7) See answer 5.

Malay people give the land to STAY. Is that Sultans halau these people back to china? Sultans HELP them to give them a new life. A NEW LIFE.

    (8) We already know that but don't make us live under apartheid. And we are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations. International law of 'Jus Soli' ensures that all citizens born in a country will have that country's citizenship.

Malay people doesn’t even think that Chinese people will saying any sh*t for their own HUMAN RIGHTS after 50 years of MERDEKA. Not a little bit. If we did know before, we will talk to SULTAN and deny any CITIZENSHIP to Chinese.

    (9) Stop living in the past or being a chauvinist about the past. Nobody knows what the tropical belt will be like in 20 years time either. What if the sea rises? Temperatures soar? By all means go to Thailand, India and China, but how are you treating the minorities now?

YOu said “This world and it’s wealth and lands do belong to all humankind”.

    >This is most SH*T-EST statement you ever talk. LAND is divided. WHY? Because LAND is occupied.

WHY is that land occupied. Because Humankind itself doesnt cooperate with themselves.

    (10) It is occupied only if you view it as such. Some people can share, you lack confidence in man's good nature, again you forget all men are different. Using expletives mid sentence does not punctuate anything but yourself, and not in a good way.

Why there is COMMUNISTS? Who KILL us for COMMUNISTS. Why communist people still not civilized.

    (11) Not all minorities are communists. Again an inability to differentiate between people. My family at least was not Communist. Even the children of Commmunists may not necessarily be communists. PLEASE LEARN TO DIFFERENTIATE.

Find money, you give to communists. Find more also you give to communists. So, whatever hard work you do, you will never get more. So people will not work more, because whatever hard work you do, it was useless.

    (12) I think your brain is getting tired cause you're not used to thinking. Train up abit and think about what how you pose no.12. You're no longer coherent.

Plutocracy. If you want to make a peace living, GO TO PLUTO then and make a house for yourself there. Govern your planet as a king of Pluto there. PRACTICALLY IT CAN BE DONE. AND IT CAN BE DONE.

    (13) Yup. No longer coherent. But from the looks of it the space race will indeed by headed by today's superpowers.

    You said:

    1) Freedom from Apartheid/Fascism

    2) Freedom from Religious-Persecution/Religious-Supremacy.

    3) Equality for all ethnicities and faiths in all aspects of policy, Law and Constitution.”

Answer for this THREE “SH*TS”: (Tsk tsk tsk, mind your language.)

    1) This also other sh*t. Why? Go to any place in the world that people could react as ONE Community, without any clash. Even chinese also argue with other chinese, MALAY also same. (See answer 10)

    “Freedom from Religious-Persecution/Religious-Supremacy.”

    2) chinese angry to Malay for AZAN time, they say it was loud. – Nobody is angry, but it wouldn't hurt to be considerate when others are around that do not want to hear AZAN? – It is for non-Muslims rather overbearing in nature. (See the link for ideas how to get along with other faiths on this issue : http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=31851551532

Chinese use firework for their own religion, other people angry too. – That is true. But limit the usage as seen in the above link and meet everyone halfway.

Freedom SH*T *SS. In other people country. Are you trying to OCCUPIED US? – Stop cussing already, it reflects badly on you and shows you up background wise. There is no anyone's country. As a neutral citizen in another 'people's' country, does that mean you expect the minorities to be subjugated? Freedoms for all are discussed as in the Hadiths of Islam and Human Rights Charter. We're stuck on this planet. Share and stop being childish.

    3) “Equality for all ethnicities and faiths in all aspects of policy, Law and Constitution.”

As long YOU don’t agree with me, and ME don’t agree with you, they may not have any EQUALITY. Why? Malay =/= CHINESE. NOT a same people with same HEART. Other Period. – So learn to agree where fair. I have no unreasonable expectations, though I'd say this conversation is less of a discussion than an exercise in opening your eyes to the rest of the world and the way things work. I won't say 'frog under a coconut shell' but that was the scope of this conversation at least.

I hope I haven't wasted my time, but it would be irresponsible to just leave those so needy of 'light' in the state of ignorance I find them (you) in. So this is what the Malaysian educational system or political party in charge has bred? Log this exchange and talk to me if you manage to understand what has been discussed. It will be very interesting to hear what your views will be like then. I have tried, now you use whatever intelligence you have to figure what has been spelled out to you.

    @single male

Like to live under 2 systems of citizenship and APARTHEID so much? But there are limited positions for lapdogs that you obviously have not qualified for. So shut yourself up and ask for a Minister's post in the racist faction like KSK if you can do it. I doubt you can so you're here venting your lapdog's frustration.

  43. I am not Malay but I understand what apalah talked about. AgreeToDisagree – please shut up.
