What really happens when the police stops a woman and the woman whips out a camera to film them?
Can the police take your I.C. and not give it back? Were they threatening and intimidating me?

Hey Danny LoHH, you are crazy.. You go climb up the tree and play with the monkeys ok. Leave Pamela alone.
I am very scared one day this be the police state. They'll cum in my face and backside everynight.. lock up all the police!!
OK I admit. Pam is a super bitch. But you never know how good it is to get laid Pam. Get laid with me. I am a sicko who only like to sleep with police haters. I dreamt I was raped by policemen everynight. I support you Pam..
@aa
Bodoh punya "aa"! Kau otak cacat!
Cepat pergi makan pils otak cacat supaya otak kau sembuh.
Wawasan 2020 dah dekat lah tetapi kau masih berfikiran kolot!
Sendiri fikir-fikirlah apalah nak buat dengan otak cacat kau.
Dear Pam, i deeply pity you…i don't understand why you make simple thing so complicated and expect everybody to endorse your action. This stupid video is meant for you only….contest your citizen's rights in court and if you win..then only you'll have good citizens behind to support you. Open your eyes bigger…even blind man can see how stupid this video can be. I think the right way to go now is to lodge report to the police, sue that poor malay policeman, make it official dear that could trigger much greater impact by involving our DAPs and PKRs and not to be forgotten our ruling BNs…then we'll see the long awaited event that could ruin our long history of multi-racial society. I just want to see who's going to win…will it be you?!! The malays? Chinese? Who do you think? I guess you must have proven your point at that time but all the shits you've created will be shared by all races including the real "pendatang" of the 20th century from Bangladesh, Indonesia, myamar…and even China…the so called super-power…Pls Pam and to all of you guys…history is history…pendatang could be our forefathers but now time has passed….our forefathers would be laughing by now…especially the late Mr Peter Lim…to see how their great2 grand daughter still have "pendatang" state of mind implanted in her pea-sized brain when everybody already full steamed ahead with 1Malaysia and Visio2020 for generations to come…think about it…
don't kecoh2 larrrr
kalau i jd PM r i halau semua. ini malaysia just for malay people only. cari makan, buat bisnes di malaysia. malaysia sudah bagi untung, bagi tempat tinggal, sekarang berlagak mahu jatuhkan melayu.tak guna.banyak cakap. balik u punya negeri la.kenapa datang malaysia.????? kenapa tak duduk c? negara miskin r? u olls sendiri pun tak mahu tinggal negara sendiri.lagi mahu bising2!!!
Are you stupid Pam?? This is NOT about racial discrimination or police intimidation.
YOU drove a car while using a mobile phone. Do you even know how dangerous that is?? Do you know how many accidents that might have caused?? Do you know how many people DIED because of that??! And yet, you have the decency to be rude and bitchy and further provoke the policemen by scribbling on his papers and then post this video for the rest of the world to watch?? They are policemen who are trying to make the roads a safe place for EVERYONE Pam. The world does NOT revolve around YOU!
Why do you expect others to consider your feelings when you consider none of theirs and other drivers??
Last question, WHAT do you hope to get from posting this video? Why not just bring your video to the police station and make your precious report? For global fame of being a bitch?
If I were the police, I would be ecstatic to bring you to court for resisting, being uncooperative, videotaping without consent, defamation and reckless driving.
But I'm not, so as an international viewer and concerned driver, I hope one day a vehicle will crash into yours while the driver is on the phone, and the police videotape you.
Gv me lotsa pain to read de comment here, like to say bravo to KETUA POLIS PDRM & SUPPORT CANNY ONG.
I think we need not compare to any country neither Japan nor US, we just plain Malaysian and we speak multiple language.
Pam in this matter may not be right 100% but it is true of what SUPPORT CANNY ONG said, she might be a victim of perogol or perompak or fake-police. The blue uniform is easy to get anywhere, and the two policemen in the video are not traffic police who should be in white uniform w/ black stripe pants & boots. No doubt, the two police in this video are acting very unprofessional. As a person who enforce the law and study law, they should have higher emotion quality as they are here to protect the citizen, not scare them with an attitude like Hang Jebat in P. Ramlee's movie. And as a citizen, please bear in mind that nobody have the right to take away or confiscate your ID or PASSPORT without your permission….
Dr Lam Weng Kai, your comment is indeed laughable. Japan with a higher per capita income compared to M'sia, most of them don't speak English. Yet Japan is an economic powerhouse. The Japanese have a great educational system and certainly do not need a walking stick.
If your are indeed a Malaysian, be proud of your Bahasa Malaysia. Its your national language and language of administration.
Given your credential of either a medical professional or Phd holder, your logic only says so much about your qualification which I surmise to say if probably FAKE.
u guys just dont get it do u? no one said it was wrong to speak english. it's just that Pam made fun of the cops cos they cant speak proper english. is that the way to behave when u're being stopped by the cops? and since she is capable of conversing in malay, why didnt she converse in malay instead? why the need to confuse the cops with her english? why the need to feel all superior just because u can speak english?
It pains me to read the comments here. Many just didn't know how a police should act in a routine traffic stop. The video shows that the police were not professional. If the antics of these two policemen are acceptable to you then you have no idea how a professional police should act. No wonder Malaysia is turning into a police state.
seems like the police are abuse their power and intend to show their power. It is not wrong to speak english in any where in this world. Those complaining in using english are those lease educated, just forgive them because they need a walking stick, especially those using racialism wording.
NWA said it right:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiX7GTelTPM
To juticeman…wow..you're totally correct…the whole world is laughing at us now for hiring police that could not even speak decent english…lower standard than tadika maaa…i guess we need this legal gangsters to take english courses before confronting illegal gangsters that must be very fluent in this language…or better still…before shooting illegal gangsters…lets take few minutes of how to converse proper english first…i totally agree with you there's no justice in Malaysia if IE; your sister get raped by illegal gangster but our legal gangsters have to spend sometime to speak proper english with the illegal rapist who must have taking turn teaching and raping your sister before shooting them…definitely UMNO govt has to protect the shortcoming of this by denying you to file a case…totally no justice in malaysia…i guess it's better for you to migrate to US since there's no future for the english speaking moron like you and Pam…and me of course…we are totally in the same boat…bravo juticeman or can i called you juSticeman?
To AgreeToDisagree…i think the fake AgreeToDisagree is just being sarcastic…as much as you accused him/her a moron…same goes to what Pam has done with her video clip and so called citizen's right…equally moronic act…let it be a lesson…don't justify your rights by denying other people's rights…and as much as she can hurt other people's feeling…people can do the same to her…this whole drama is a big joke…accept the fact that not everybody share the same understanding of her version about citizen's right…we do have brains and conscience about true human rights, respect and dignity.
JK with due respect….don't even think of comparing the US cop with the ass Clowns you see in malaysia. In US you can always file a case. in fact many have done and won the cases. Can the same be done here?? IE; if you have a sister and she gets raped by this legal gangsters, will you ever have a chance of seeking justice in M'sia?? UMNO Govt will protect them just as they have done all the while.
those who say Pamela should have spoken in malay, why must she do so? why can't the police spk english? wonder if thy can speak sme english? they tried but even and lower primary school student can speak btr english. Malays-sian police cannot speak english……the world will Laugh at us for hiring this kind of legal gangsters.
Want to see real intimidation? and were done by so-more-profesional US cop? Just search police intimidation in youtube. This video is plain stupid!
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=polic… . Compare to them, this is nothing. Hope Pam will repent and admit her wrong.
sorry pamela.
you are jerk
OMG more fakes. This is the real AgreeToDisagree look at the identifying logo on the right pls. Could the Loyar Burok admin pls remove that ridiculous remark and ban that moron?

DEFEND EQUALITY..LOVE UNITES..
BUT..
SHE REALLY A BITCH!!!
To AgreeToDisagree, what is the spanking and video taping…are you joking?!! You don't teach a naughty girl by spanking, capiche?!!! Do not intimidate her! Do you know what intimidate means?!! Sebagai rakyat saya sudah marah…i'll scribble your underwear if you still insist spanking her….and btw..give back her RED BOOK…she needs to know her right..!
Pam…since you've been a very naughty girl…you deserve spanking on your butt…allow me to video tape that and post it on youtube….err..awak marah kaa? Marah lah…saya ada hak video tape sebagai rakyat…what..? feel intimidated..?! Now i'm scaredd….uuuuuuhh…i'm scared…byeeee….byeeee…
My deepest apology for defending Pam….she's an ass hole…and i'm retarded…so don't blame me…i know my right…even though i'm retarded…sorry…sorry…sorry…
I almost cannot believe it.
The best response so far is from PDRM.
Whether it is really from "KENYATAAN DARIPADA KETUA POLIS SELANGOR" or not, I'm not sure.
But, I second.
Mahaguru says this at http://mahaguru58.blogspot.com/2010/10/kes-anggot… :
See more

PAM, just go and do police report already la..like the police or fake policeman say.."Malaysia ada undang undang, jangan takut!"..if u are right then u are right.. but wait..why then u agree to sign the summon at the first place..oh i got it..u berlakon saja kan..main conteng2..or you just playing dumb do not understand the word 'tandatangan sini'. Later when u launch a police report..dont forget to bring whole production crew to film you there..then post it on utube..we all want to see sequel to this drama..furthermore..u got natural tallent in acting la..buleh cari makan..got 200K plus viewers on utube already..not bad..:)
stupid bitch, who ask you to scribbled their summon book ?
oh ya, one more thing, RED BOOK my foot la wei !
Kalau mahu muhibbah dan gotong royong…jangan cakap saja…pandang sekeliling dan sensitif sikit dgn perasaan orang lain…jgn sombong…jgn pandang rendah pada org2 melayu…belajar menghormati org lain…jgn hipokrit…jgn bodoh2kan org orang melayu….yg paling penting fikir2 dahulu sebelum mau buat kontroversi…semua komen2 racist ini mmg kita sudah boleh anticipate…jangan sedap2 mau sebar2 video clip mcm ini dgn harapan satu dunia boleh tahu polis2 melayu malaysia bodoh2 punya…i repeat polis2 MELAYU malaysia…i sudah tengok banyak kali video clip Cik Pam ni…tolak tepi la isu2 rasuah atau professionalism…yg menyerlah sgt adalah kesombongan Cik Pam kita nie…seolah2 mcm bigshot mau bagitau satu dunia….tengok! tengok! i told you oledi…malay policeman like tat one…always rasuah…dunno how to speak english…stupid…i told you oledi….they cannot do anything maaaa…I KNOW MY RIGHT…I'M A GOOD CITIZEN….like that malay police what do they know…? The word intimidating pun tak tau kaa..? Rasuah saja tau…! Come on la Cik Pam…jgn jadi mcm Namewee laa…the day you're born (same goes species2 yg sama racist mcm you)…we have lost our "Malaysian Mentality"..whatever you want to call it….
yeah those racists remarks were so unnecessary. but even in the blog's latest entry, the word pendatang is marked in red font. as if they themselves are condoning the provocation.
but alas, this is a separate issue. its the issue of manners. and danny also has put it in simple terms above.
pamela, after this, why dont u go to places which prohibits videos/cameras like the movies/certain restaurants/museum and have a bitch fit there of why u cant video/photograph there. after all, the right to videotape is the right of all. hehehee :)
Unfortunately…the PDRM has had a number on cases involving corruption from the Rank & File up to Senior Officers…read the past reported cases that the Judiciary System had taken action against such personnel…It is up to the IGP and his assistants to clear such preconcieved image…until such time, there will be loyal citizens who has every right to be suspicious and protective of their constitional rights as a MALAYSIAN. Just because the two personnel were wearing Police Uniform, it does not mean we should take their word for it…did they show her their Police Identification cards..have you people not heard of culprits impersonating Police Officers and raping their victims. What if the girl was your sister, wife, mother or relative? then and oNLY THEN…you will say, "why didn't you minta depa orang kad Kuasa?"…no need to be a hakim in this case… are you qualified to pass judgement? if not..keep your "Pendatang" comments to your damn self!
Why so many racist remarks from whichsoever kaum lahhh…what happened to the good old days of Muhibah and Gotong Royong…. has the present set of younger politicians desecrated our Malaysian Society to this stage.. all because of POWER..sikit sikit from other races .. sudah mahu cari musuh dengan the words,"Pendatang"…what nonsense is this? All those idiots who claim to be Holier than Thou are usually like the katak katak bawah tempurung! LIVE AND LET LIVE and stop acting like childish brats..GROW UP!!! These comments are no more about Police Etiquette but of our lost Malaysian Mentality…fikir lah
Hmm, I bet a lot of you guys are still debating whether it is the policeman or Pamela who's at fault. Some of you think that the whole thing started cos the cops are intimidating her and they're being rude. Some of you even claimed that the cops are bogus cops. So, Situation A, let's imagine that the cops are real cops, and they're really nice guys this time:
Police: Good afternoon ma'am. My name is Rachmat, and this is my Police ID. (Showed his badge and ID to prove that he is a real cop). Ma'am, you have committed an offence whereby you have used your handphone while driving, which is against the law. May I request for your IC and driving license please. (He wrote the summon). Could you please sign this?
Pamela: (scribbled something unnecessary on the summons).
Police: Ma'am, may I ask, why did you write something unnecessary on the summons?
Pamela: U marah saye ah?
Police: Of course I'm angry. Who gave you the right to write your own summons?
Pamela: U marah saye ah? Marah la…
Police: Ma'am, I need you to follow me to the police station.
Pamela: NO! Im NOT following u ANYWHERE!
Police: Why? Why did u scribbled on the summons in the first place?
Lady: Kamu mengugut saya ah? Are u FRIGHTENING me? Im very SCARED now! im very scared now… (in the b****iest tone u have ever heard in ur entire life)
and so on… so u see, even if the two cops were nice and honest and stuff, the situation would not have differed much. Now let's take a look at Situation B, where we replace Pamela with, let's say, Ah Lian, a nice girl who knows when to keep her mouth shut.
Police: Miss, u guna handphone masa driving. U tau ka salah? Macam mana mau settle?
Lady: Sorry encik.
Police: Sekarang macam mana mau settle? U mau saman ka tak mau? (hinting that he accepts bribe)
Lady: Saman saja la encik.
Police: (Disappointed, but wrote the summon anyway) Sign sini.
Lady: (Signed the summon, without writing anything unnecessary)
Police: Ok, lain kali jangan buat lagi ah.
Lady: Ok.
Police: Ok, jalan.
Lady: Thank u.
Tadaaaahh!!
hi cranberry,
(1) PAMELA is just playing the victim because she HAS THE PENDATANG mentality. . . If you are rude, donbt blame others to scold you.
Ans : If she has the pendtang mentality, you must reconcile her by endorsing the below 3 items and reassuring her and all minorities you believe in EQUALITY.
1) Freedom from Apartheid/Fascism
2) Freedom from Religious-Persecution/Religious-Supremacy.
3) Equality for all ethnicities and faiths in all aspects of policy, Law and Constitution.
(2) If you are rude, donbt blame others to scold you.
Ans : If she is rude, it is not about retaliating but trying to understand that she is the victim of APARTHEID policy and rightfully is aggrieved being disenfranchised by BN's policy.
Do the right thing @cranberry and understand that it is not a normal environment for all minorities this day staring from 50 years ago, and have sympathy to her for her marginalized status as imposed by Bumiputera Apartheid.
Conversely if you are ever subject to the same elswhere for example India and China, you too will deserve the protection and sympathy of the locals. This is the globalised goodly world citizen that we need to be. We cannot view reality in isolation of our own country and race.
With this in mind, how about taking back the using of the 'pendatang word' and that 'she deserved it' attitude you were giving her or saying she was playing the victim because she really IS a victim of APARTHEID? It will certainly better understanding among the races and 'world peace'.
Police traffic in msia sure is getting worst by each days, even in my place (sarawak) we also facing the same problem, mostly from police traffic officer from semenanjung msia are rude when they r working, i once was yelled at after being flagged down by the unit peronda (proton waja)…. wtf? after they have my ic & license they even say "i tought u r chinese fella?" although im malay but look like a chinese fella it doesnt mean he can yelled at anyone though! i still remembered the face, the name of da person" but i dont have any evidence of the fella yelling at me, so next time i'll be recording if ever being flagged down, who know we can use it as evidence in da court. hehe. I'm pondering when will goverment of msia will using video cam in their unit peronda juz like in the u.s? sure no more kes duit kopi or rasuah will occur rite? but then again malaysia mmg boleh…. btw the police in other countries r more polite than ours in msia, maybe only good candidate with proper education qualification r being accepted in their force, but here in msia we do it the other way around kot hehe.
wanna see a profesional police in action? this is an example for our police force in msia especially the unit peronda to learn from, i'd reckon the IGP to copy this vid & send it to any peronda unit in the country for an example of a profesional way to work!… so dat they learn something hopefully…..
watch the vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq_RvJ7CtOw

I understand that the purpose of this video was to illustrate the unprofessional behavior of the PDRM when dealing with the Rakyat. I agree that there the police may not always be efficient or courteous as a matter of fact, but your actions were incredibly rude. There are people on this comment list that say that in America, the traffic police are better etc. Sorry to burst your bubble but it's the same all over the world. No one appreciates a camera in their face. Same in America, and same here. In fact, if you got down from your car in America while being stopped by the police, they would draw they're guns. I'd take the Malaysian police any day. I also noticed that there are a number of racist comments here. I think everyone needs to relax. Everyone is getting too emotional. Stay calm and try to have a discussion. It is tempting to fight fire with fire, but there is absolutely no point to that. We'll just end up with increasingly hurtful comments. Stop and think about it, we all have malay, chinese and indian friends. How do you think they would feel if they read our comments ?
what can be seen here, pamela do not respect police. pamela has disturbing police to carry out their duties and do not cooperate with them. Please Respect other people if you want others respect yourself. That is the basic values that you should have.
moral of the story:
if u want people respect you, respect others at first.
if u dont respect the authority, nobody will respect you.
I'd experience once face the police officer roadblock, im forgot to wear the safety belt. Just give some respect & smile,,he look at me & my wife & said just go.
for this cases, i am never seen any respect from the user@pamela to both police officer.
Bravo! Spoken like a true racist.
Ibrahim Ali would be proud.
Del, please keep your racist comment to yourself. I don't see any racial tone in the video at all. I agree that she has been acting quite corky in the vidoe but certainly nothing to insinuate racial overview.
ini la kaum pendatang!!!tak kenang budi!!!dah tak reti nak cakap bahasa melayu???dah la pendatang rasis pulak.meraka ni suka sungguh nak manjatuhkan moral PDRM & Org melayu.
oii amoi …lu kalau org malaysia , cakap bahasa kebangasaan la . huhu dah buat salah lagi mau tunjuk bagus …kalau wa cakap lu amoi kurang hajar lu mau cakap apa ? suka wa la kebebasan bersuara maa ..lu mmg bolo…
i’m sorry for so much error typing~~~to fast liao…hope the reader dun mind…
I would not give any comment on tis video…sometimes v really need to predict ourselves,if u did not offence any the law,i dun think the police will stop ya car & summon..anyway,just to share a wonderful experience on yesterday (12/10/10),I was trying to find my way to Tropicana Mall…I was rounding & rounding in the silent residential area at 3.30pm++.(actually I was located at the back of the Mall (5-8 km).I met 2 police man were on duty & rounding in the garden(SS2) for the security purpose..I was stopped my car in the middle of the road & seek for the help to getting to Tropicana Mall….
I am very very impress & happy with the help of these 2 police man..They just ask me to follow them at the back & lead me to the destination…During the journey,1 of the police man was leading the way & drove in front & the other one was at my back, my car actually was in the middle of them…as if for you guys here for this current situation, i think might frighten liao..afraid of, was it an imitation police & lead me to some other place & rob me down?..
I did not even think about that &,just following them coz my appointment was late…However. after the 15 minutes of drive,at last,I am there..I am so grateful & appreciated with their help…Not all the police man r bad,if you r really afraid of imitation police,u need not talk to much & just tell them,i am sorry, i am wrong, however u can issue me the summon instead of wasting yr time to argue with them~~~
Cheers^_^
Well done to the lady driver, couragous act. This undesired intimidation act, is probably all to common for everyday Malaysian.
To the other who posted a negative comment (above): if there's nothing good to say, saying nothing is better.
May be she did commit the offence, rude & nasty and made it difficult for the policemen to perform their duty. May be the policemen did make it difficult for her hoping to get some kopi-o money. We do not know and should NOT comment.
What I do know is that Traffic police in Malaysia, in general, is far far from USA and Singapore. I had lived in the two countries long enough to say that I am very impressed with the quality of their traffice police.
I have several encounters with HKG traffice police, they are excellent too.
Malaysia traffic-police is slightly better than Indonesia.
