I believed they are not traffic police but instead the one attached to crime prevention units, who going around patrolling our negihbourhood.
If I am not mistaken (in order to reduce traffic accidents), the government has made a directive (a few years back)to allow all cops to be able to issue summons on traffic offences.
Agree with Ramli, don't let this Pam make a mountain out of a mole hill. Silly woman dare not even come out to apologize for her mistake. I honestly think she was trying to bait the officers into asking her for "duit kopi"…This woman is truly evil.

Legal issues aside, this is the first time I have seen policemen in this kind of uniform. Is this a new uniform issue? Or are they auxilliary policemen?
What is surprising is that they have their name tag but no serial number! What is going on? If I were Pamela, I would be suspicious and feel intimidated too!
Based on my 40 years of driving experience, all of the traffic policemen – no exception here- who has stopped me for traffic violations have conducted themselves professionally. Sometimes they issue me summons and other times they let me go without even hinting of a "duit kopi".
Whoever they are, they must have a serial no to identify them. Imagine, how many "Rachmat" can there be in the police force! PDRM must insist every policeman must wear their serial number as part of their identification.
Having seen the video several times, I think they have acted unprofessionally and gives me the suspicion that they are auxilliary policemen. If they think that Pamela has committed a trafic offence, just give her the summons. Period. Case closed.

For one, a CJ is required to obey rules, traffic or others, just like any other citizen. when one has committed an offense, take the summons given by the authority officer. It is an offense when does not provide ones NRIC and Driving License when commiting a trafic offense. While a enforcement officer writes the summons, it is an offense to intimidate the officer. When asked to sign the receipt of the summons, should one go further to also scribble the summon book, one has created another offense and can be penalised. One should not uses ones video recording appliance to attempt escaping getting the summon. ……… Should the intent be to record the enforcement officer likely asking for bribe, anyone with just two cells working would know it is foolish to even attempt asking for bribe. ….So Pamela Lim, it baffles me to understand your purpose for recording. Just who getting intimidated. In my opinion the cops were professional who should further report your actions and vehicle details, and they have the proof of your scribbles, and bottomline, you got the summon and more problem. While you were videoing the cops at the back of your car, you also showed us all your vehicle number plate embossed on the rear side window. Big mistake …….. You have fun now.
