It’s that time of the year again when the Bar Council puts together an annual event to commemorate International Human Rights Day. The Bar Council Committee on Orang Asli Rights (“COAR”) and the Human Rights Committee (“HRC”) are privileged to host a charity dinner in conjunction with Human Rights Day 2013.
This year’s theme of “We Are One: Orang Kita Bersatu” is aimed at affirming and ensuring the protection of the rights of indigenous peoples pursuant to the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
This charity dinner will focus specifically on indigenous people in Peninsular Malaysia, better known as the “Orang Asli”.
Do come and support this important and meaningful event, and make a difference in their lives.

Time: 7:00 pm
Venue: Grand Ballroom, Sunway Resort, Hotel & Spa, Persiaran Lagoon 46150 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Dinner ticket: RM200 per ticket / RM2,000 per table
