The Malaysia Public Policy Competition

Frustrated at Malaysia’s current state of policy making? Think you could do much better?

It’s that time of the year again! Yes, APPLICATIONS TO THE MPPC ARE NOW OPEN!

The MPPC is a case-based competition which provides local and overseas Malaysian students an opportunity to take on the role of a Malaysian public policy maker. It aims to give students a taste of the policy-making process in a real world context. Through this competition, participants will get to understand the importance of conception as well as implementation, and to tackle common policy dilemmas in balancing “right” and “popular” policies.

The MPPC 2013 promises to be an engaging and intellectually stimulating occasion, during which you will be presented with the opportunity to articulate and advocate your ideas. Engage top academics in lectures and interact with highly qualified peers who share a similar passion and curiosity with regards to public policy and the policy-making framework.
