WanitaUndi! Getting Out The Women’s Vote

“Kos hidup tinggi, minyak naik, barang naik, tetapi gaji tetap kurang.”

I got into my car and before I even had the chance to lock my door someone pushed me.”

What issues concern you?

In light of the imminent elections, we asked five women about the issues that matter most to them. Their answers highlight the problems and worries that women in our society have to live with on a daily basis. Their concerns ranged from being able to walk safely in the streets to knowing if the system has their child’s best interests and welfare at heart.

A Chinese proverb says that women hold up half the sky.

This is why we need to stand up and be heard.

This is why we need to demand for our politicians to talk to us and for issues to be addressed.

This is why it is so very important for us Malaysian women to come out and vote this election
