The KL Bar Information Technology and Communications Committee (ITCC) is holding a forum entitled “Freedom of Speech in the New Media” on 17 November 2011 at 5.00pm at the KL Bar Auditorium, 10th Floor, Wisma Kraftangan, No.9, Jalan Tun Perak, 50050 Kuala Lumpur.

The Forum will be Moderated by H.R. Dipendra (Advocate and Solicitor).
The Forum is aimed at addressing some of the keys issues such as the implications of freedom of speech in the new media, the effect of new media on how journalism and communication works, the placement of new media alongside traditional media, and its management and regulation.
This Forum is part of our continuing efforts to host open knowledge exchanges and awareness-building platforms on topics of current interest or latest developments to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laws.
