Day after day,
Alone on a hill,
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him,
They can see that he’s just a fool,
And he never gives an answer,
But the fool on the hill,
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning ’round.

Well on the way,
Head in a cloud,
The man of a thousand voices talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him,
or the sound he appears to make,
and he never seems to notice,
But the fool on the hill,
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning ’round.

And nobody seems to like him,
they can tell what he wants to do,
and he never shows his feelings,
But the fool on the hill,
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning ’round.

Ooh, ooh,
Round and round and round.

And he never listens to them,
He knows that they’re the fools
They don’t like him,
The fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning ’round.

Ooh,
Round and round and round

Though he is the least educated of all in LoyarBurok — having only studied until STPM — he believes he can hold his own in any argument except towards his wife. An overweight, talkative chain smoker, he is currently jamming the Beatles’ song ‘Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except For Me and My Monkey’ with Lord Bobo Barnabus.
Masih dok merapu like the old time lah ko ni… Still fatty eh??
Kahkahkah!! Takperlah tuh. It will serve as a reminder and a challenge to myself and also others… huhuhu!!
Lovely! :) And who says you are the least educated – just cause you didnt stick around long enough to get that law degree doesnt mean you're not smarter than the rest of us :)
Special One – It is a satire. I'm saying all these people are fools one way or another.
The first person is Kushrin. The first verse of the song depicts him as a person who nobody wants to know. Of course, he is not invited in any State Council meeting. And he of course never give an answer, because somebody upstairs does the job for him. A puppet, a fool.
The second is Khalid. This fella of course talk about a lot of things seeing that he is the Menteri besar, thus the many voices. Unfortunately majority of the people working under him, disregard his views and advice. This is true not just of state civil servants who support BN, but also those PKR supporters of Azmin and other PR supporters in the state civil servant who doesnt like him. In fact, even the Sultan doesnt listen to him. They say Anwar also don't listen to him. So what give? A fool.
The third is of course Najib. The verse is rather self explanatory. Nobody likes him, including some of those from UMNO and PERKASA, and nearly everyone knows what his intentions are. Therefor he had to play to the gallery, hiding his real feelings, less he end up in a similar state like the previous PM, a fool just like him…
As to Big Mama, well she is just 'menyelit sibuk' as usual…
Now about brother Anwar… another fool. Don't even listen to those who have supported him over the years. How many reformasi supporters and leaders have fallen on the wayside because of Anwar's dictatorial ways? Many… but Anwar is a political animal. He regard these people as fools, just as how he regards UMNO and BN. And they don't like him… that includes his former supporter who is now Anwar's 'mangsa-mangsa politik'…
And again we have Big Mama… just another minah sibuk!
I don't get it.
