The New Young Lawyers Movement Begins 1 June 2013…

Calling all young lawyers, not-so-young-but-young-at-heart lawyers, lawyers-in-training (chambies lah!) and those who want to be lawyers!

Are you ready for the new (and awesome) Young Lawyers movement?

Are you ready for a movement to galvanise Young Lawyers nationwide into a dynamic, potent and respected force?

A movement for the good of the Malaysian Bar and the nation as a whole?

Yes, we all know about the struggle to abolish S. 46A of the Legal Profession Act. Yes, we all know of the glory days of the Young Lawyers movement. Yes, maybe Young Lawyers of today are not speaking in one united voice.

But now, the new movement will begin.

We need you — from Perlis to Johor, from the East Coast to the West Coast, from the youngest pupils to the most ‘senior’ of young lawyers. If you think you are ready, then be a part of the Bar Council National Young Lawyers Committee.

Come to our first meeting, details below:

Date : 01 June 2013 (Saturday)

Time : 10 am

Venue : Meeting Room, Level 3, Bar Council.
