2. Both sides are at fault here but the fact that the video was taken after she had asked for the IDs, then we will never know what really happened prior to that. The polis bantuan had pistols, wore uniform that we would normally see, the only missing link here is the ID numbers on their shirt.

   But if Pamela had put up the video to show she was being intimidated, as the topic "[UPDATED] Police Intimidation Video: What Happened Before" suggests, then this argument is rendered completely null and void. Further, if you realize, they were already willing to let her off, but she being the person that she was, "When they handed me the summons to sign, I wrote on it that 'I do not accept as I had handsfree,' the police went livid." Clearly, the policemen did not go livid, in fact that further escalated things and that was when they asked her to follow them to the station. Her taunts, 'Marah la, marah la', 'I'm very scared now, I'm very scared now', 'Thank you very much, bye, bye", "You know what intimidating means?" all the more spiced thing up and reason for the policemen to be suspicious of her defiant behavior.

   Also, it was a busy road. If she was to follow them to the station either way, she should be intelligent enough to know whether or not they were moving towards the right direction.

   That is why the discussion evolved as such. Because it involved the integrity of the police and her role as a citizen (perhaps if she spoken better Bahasa Melayu (http://prpm.dbp.gov.my/), things would have been better handled, instead of talking down to them in English).

   Everyone I believe, has encountered a policemen, like myself too. If you commited and offense, speak nicely and sincerely apologize for your mistake, they would even let you off. They are humans too, just like you and I. W

   Pamela asked for an ID and the two Police men went livid. The rest is captured on the video. This message is completely lost to those focusing on Pamela's bad Bahasa Kebangsaan (that's what it is called now). And those who concentrate on Pamela uncooperative behavior with the police.

   These people refuse to see that at the spur of the moment when Pamela was in doubt of the status of the two policemen, compounded with the fact that these two policemen do not wear their ID number tag and refuse to show her their Authority Cards is unprofessional and suspicious.

   All arguments are based on the after thought that these two policemen are real policemen but without a single thought been put into what if these two cops are fake? After all there were no way that Pamela could verify for they did not wear their ID tag and they refuse to show her their Authority Card. Which was the main issue here.

   But alas most choose to shoot the messenger here. It seems that this is a Malaysian Culture. We love to shoot the messenger, no wonder the Sin Chew Jit Poh Reporter was detained under ISA when the one that uttered racists remarks went scot free.

   Are you sure we're looking at the same thing here? The video is honest and transparent, alright. It HONESTLY and TRANSPARENTLY shows Pamela Lim being recalcitrant and rude to a uniformed personnel. She shouldn't have done that. She didn't have to go all full Datin Wannabe mode on two cops who were just doing their job. Nowhere in the video was she "intimidated", rather the entire video was a prime example of how NOT to behave towards a police officer. NOWHERE in her trusted Red Book does it tell you to be rude to police officers. I would know…I've helped the Bar Council distribute the Red Book countless times.

   Granted, the police officers were at fault, too. They should've handled it better, in my opinion. Any senior police officer would have called for backup and hauled Pamela to the nearest police station for further investigation for acting suspiciously defensive, or acting like a crazy bitch. Whichever. Or they could've let the lonely crazy lady go off with a summons, or just plainly let her go because she's not worth the trouble. Whichever.

   I agree with your contention that the video is an honest and transparent representation of what had occurred.

   Read what Pamela Lim wrote on this entry. Watch the video again. For the life of me, I can't reconcile the "facts" between her article and the video. She practically spun the whole story around to make it seem as though she was the victim. It was pretty much purely conjecture and liberal doses of exaggeration. How can any right thinking person take this sad, blatant attempt at a smear campaign seriously?

   Of course, because she's only a CITIZEN JOURNALIST, Pamela Lim perhaps considers herself exempt from any form of journalistic integrity. She probably thought that she could pretty much bully her way to getting an apology from the PDRM, which is already suffering from horrid PR anyway.

    I note with a mixture of regret and joy that I conclude that we have managed to silence certain parties to reconsider their outlook and mindset.

    I am glad that there are still reasonable people like yourself and many others around.     Face the fact that the forefathers somebody here are so proud of being descendent (if not some poseur cybertrooper) of, entirely failed all Malaysians in their duties . . . most older generation people will say that Tan Cheng Lock betrayed the Chinese and that Tan Siew Sin lost the Finance Minister's post during his tenure at MCA's head, though a post should not be 'reserved' in any case in any democracy. MCA of course is a joke today that began disintegration during Cheng Lock's watch.

    Without the Clan Associations/NGOs/even gangs as a background deterrent, more Chinese would probably have been exterminated during May 13, and the different dialect speaking Chinese gangs stood united at that point at least.

    Was Tun Tan recognized as a leader by any of these groups at that point? Tun Tan was of little use like KTK, not even able to rein or mediate Dato Harun, though highly networked and supposedly well connected with the Malay court. Was this very negligence intentional? Given @AR's flippant and destructive attitude, I'd say it was. This harmful streak certainly runs in the family.

    During the meeting for independence, how many of the leaders attended? Only 2. Tun Tan Cheng Lock and HS Lee who had betrayed the struggle of Dato Onn Jaafar at the time – the end of apartheid for equality and an open party system advocated by Dato Onn Jaafar was turned down by Tun Tan so that the so-called 'leaders' (UMNO-putras and corrupt lapdog parties) could feed off the split among the races which they have done until now, parasiting off everyone and bringing Malaysia to it's knees.

    I'd strongly advocate that all of Cheng Lock's and Siew Sin's titles be stripped posthumusly, as well any descendent's as well be stripped of citizenship. The lawsuit for the sequestration of wealth from the nation and for all the harm caused by neglect of race relations and Cheng Lock's non-support of Onn Jaafar which resulted in the polarized nation we have today could be filed by any 'jaguh kampong' so interested, to at least keep them away from polluting the minds of this generation with their corrupted self serving family zeitgeist.

    Henceforth, I declare here, that we impose a citizen arrest upon AR and the Tans, for high treason against the rulers and sedition against Malaysia.

    How apt your nick is. Alright, basic issue: It's not okay to be intimidated by a cop. It never is. It's not okay to provoke and make fun of a cop, either. It's not okay to twist the facts around for the purposes of a smear campaign at a police force that's already suffering from bad PR for 15 years or so. Do you get it? It's not okay to fabricate lies and purposely misinterpret issues just to maliciously forward a cause. It reflects badly on her character and everything she stands for.

    With power comes responsibility, that is correct. Not every one can take the heat, that is correct. I doubt you could. It's obvious Pamela can't. That's why she (and her failed lackeys) are on the other side, hiding behind her computer screen, criticizing and whining and complaining over things.
