KLue’s monthly Popcorn & Soda is back!
Some of you may have seen, and bought, the Bar Council’s DVD on the historic Walk For Justice which took place on 26 September 2007. Here’s the lowdown on the film:
When Lawyers Walk by Mien Ly (Documentary / 30 mins)
When Lawyers Walk is a rock and roll depiction of the unprecedented “Walk For Justice,” where more than 2000 lawyers shook the streets of Putrajaya on Sept 26, 2007. “When lawyers walk, something is wrong. When lawyers walk, it means that we would like to see change.” This short film is directed by Mien Ly, a director who doesn’t just make film to entertain but also to spread awareness on issues she believes in.
