5th Annual Malaysian Student Leaders Summit 2011

The 5th Annual Malaysian Student Leaders Summit 2011 provides an avenue for intellectual and productive dialogue between Malaysian student leaders and prominent national figures from a myriad of fields. The two-day conference will be held at Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel on 30th-31st July 2011.

The Malaysian Student Leaders Summit (MSLS) is an annual flagship event organised by the United Kingdom and Eire Council of Malaysian Students (UKEC) or Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar Malaysia di United Kingdom dan Eire (MPPM UK Eire). MSLS will see the participation of about 650 Malaysian student leaders from various universities around the world. The two-day summit, organised entirely free of charge for all participants, aims to foster development of our future leaders and provide them with an open, non-partisan platform for intellectual discourse.

Now in its fifth year, the Malaysian Student Leaders Summit returns with the new theme “Piecing Together the Malaysian Puzzle” and will be held at Hilton Kuala Lumpur on 30th-31st July 2011. The details are as follows:

Date : Saturday, 30th July 2011 and Sunday, 31st July 2011

Time : 8.00 am – 6.00pm

Venue : Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel, Kuala Lumpur (KL Hilton Sentral)

The fifth MSLS will feature high-profile speakers from diverse backgrounds to speak on a variety of topics relating to nation building and the development of youth today, such as aspirations in the build-up to the 13th General Elections, human capital development, and efforts to uphold of the spirit of constitutionalism in Malaysia. Speakers include Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Pandikar Amin Mulia, Speaker House of Representatives Parliament of Malaysia; YB Nurul Izzah Anwar, Member of Parliament for Lembah Pantai; Johan Mahmood Merican, CEO of TalentCorp; Edmund Bon, founder of MyConstitution and more.

This high impact national summit would serve to enhance the leadership skills of Malaysian students as well as to increase awareness of the imperative role our youth play in national building today.

    do we need an invitation to attend this event?


    No country will be much of a puzzle
    If all its citizens are not politically muzzled
    Including use of force by flexing its muscles
    To control and dominate over the masses
