The practice of S&M is not about forcing oneself onto another person – the practice of S&M is not an act of violation – that's rape and assault. One has to be in a position of power to give away power and be dominated.

There is nothing to abhor about another person's personal and private preferences. It is this need to measure others based on norms and morality that gets in the way of many human rights efforts against discrimination – regardless of whether the 5 principles have been upheld.

Perhaps the writer ought to do some field study and not regurgitate what you saw in pornos and slap a sensationalist title on it – I have more extreme fun on Mondays.
