[Porn Week] Porn Parodies

In the truly wide and varied world of pornography, one of the genres I find most entertaining is parody porn – pornographic spoofs basically, drawn from the boundless world of mainstream media.

At the first level, this stuff is fun just because it’s funny. Who wouldn’t get a kick out of seeing your favourite TV/movie characters being played by pornstars.

On a slightly deeper level I guess, how many people are there on the screen we wish so badly we could fuck?

Watching people who sometimes only bear the slightest resemblance to them getting fucked by someone else is not I suppose something that would generally count as a close second to fucking them ourselves, but in our cruel world, one takes what one can get.

Sitcom classics

I am delighted to report that some of my favourite sitcoms have porn parodies – 30 Rock, Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory.

Nowadays, the producers seem to take an effort even to reproduce the brand of humour of the originals, cracking usually slightly lame versions of the type of jokes you’re likely to hear – an effort I generally appreciate.

As part of my ‘research’ for this article, I checked out “Reno 911: A XXX Parody”. I’m a big Reno 911 fan, and I was pretty impressed by the Jim Dangler impression. The Terry Bernadino character not only makes an appearance, he even gets his own sex scene. With a hot chick.

The Scrubs parody features Vin Diesel lookalike Shane Diesel and his massive cock, as well as a threesome at the end with the JD, Todd and Elliot characters, while The Big Bang Theory (no sexual innuendo there) porn parody opens with Lennard fucking a Penny lookalike (with dead ringer tits) in full Princess Leia getup (white robes and hair buns, not slave outfit, alas).

(Sperm) Blasts from the past

It’s not only contemporary sitcoms that get the parody treatment; let’s take a look at some blasts from the past.

We’ve got This Ain’t Happy Days, where I enjoyed another threesome with the Potsie character being mistaken for the Fonz by two lovely blonde ‘twins’ in light blue and pink 50s glory, reminding us how each era has its distinctive sexy glam charm (the little neckscarves are a nice touch).

There’s not one but two parodies of Married With Children (Christina Applegate anyone?) as well as a Cheers one. There’s even a parody of McHale’s Navy, which while less than stellar, does show you some of the perks of being an Admiral.

If you’d like to watch the perks of being a Colonel, might I recommend the This Ain’t I Dream of Jeannie. As far as scantily clad hot women from classic TV shows go, you really can’t do much better than Jeannie. If the Arabic genie costume isn’t enough to pop your nut, perhaps the French maid costume will.

Sitcoms aren’t the only ‘victims’ of porn parodies – I quite enjoyed The Sex Files (which also warranted a sequel), featuring that guy that played the doofus Potsie above (Anthony Rosano) as a believeable Fox Mulder in some case involving a sex cult. If there’s one thing you learn in porn, is that you can’t go wrong with a devil worshipping sex cult.

There’s also This Isn’t Mad Men, which unfortunately doesn’t quite have the same production value as the original but lets you play out just a little bit all the scenes you don’t get to see in the original. The same can be said for the “Official Californication Parody” where Anthony Rosano reprises his role as David Duchovny, as it were.

Sex Trek

Needless to say there’s another entire universe, again as it were, of space spoof pornography. You’ve got titles like Porn Wars and Space Nuts, the former being a European production that falls into the ‘it’s so bad it’s funny’ category (but it must be said in its defense, does feature lightsabers).

And don’t get me started on the Star Trek porn. I think a listing of titles will suffice here – Star Trek: Where no man has cum before, Sex Trek 1: The Next Penetration (which was made when I was about ten), Sex Trek 2: The Search for Sperm, 3: The Wrath of Bob, 4: The Next Orgasm, 5: Deep Space Sex. This series was trippy to watch, to say the least. (Although, not to nitpick, but it would have been more accurate if it was 2: The Wrath of Bob [or Ken perhaps] and 3: The Search for Sperm. This observation is not geeky. At all.)

If you’re keen on superheroes, there’s not one but (at least) two Batman parodies – one of the campy TV series from way back in the day, and another taking after the reboot series.

The list goes on: parodies of Saw, Sex in the City, Twilight Zone, The Da Vinci Load, Pulp Friction. There’s also celebrity themed ones like Tiger’s Got Wood, and Who’s Nalin’ Paylin (mmm).

We aren’t even limited to TV or movies – check out Whores of Warcraft (Rogues Do it From Behind – complete with special effect spells) and Grand Theft Auto XXX.

Crossing back

And then of course, we must mention a few mainstream movies about porn and/or the porn industry. We have Zack and Miri make a Porno, The People vs. Larry Flynt, and Boogie Nights, plus a whole top ten list for those of you who want to peruse more (Google).

I leave you with another delightful crossover story. 30 Rock: A XXX Parody was pretty fun in and of itself. I do have a real thing for funny girls, and what the porn star lacked in looks she made up for in the chest department – while more or less pulling off the cute glasses.

The real kicker though is in the actual 30 Rock, Season 4 Episode 2 “Into the Crevasse”, where Liz has to allow Tracy to make a porno about her life, and guess who they get to play the porn stars? A double crossover and back!
